Barefoot Buttons was founded by Brett, a part time gigging musician who had a very real problem
finding and engaging tiny pedal footswitches on stage.
His need to solve this problem, and his background in machining, lead to the creation of       
Barefoot Buttons, the original pedal footswitch topper.
As Brett continued to play, fellow musicians often asked him about the buttons
and wondered where they could get some.                     
Brett realized that foot switch engagement was a problem experienced by all kinds of players.
In 2015, the design of the buttons was perfected with expertise and care and
Barefoot Buttons launched on Kickstarter.                     
 There was an abundance of interest and support and Barefoot Buttons soon after hit the market.
The brand took off immediately and quickly became used by players around the world,
from guitarists to keyboardists, professionals to novices.
